Our story

Massachusetts to Aljezur.

We started coaching in the States. Jake was training clients out of a small gym in Massachusetts. Julie was building her specialty in pre and postpartum work. Somewhere along the way we realized we could coach the people we wanted to coach from anywhere in the world.

So we packed up, moved to Aljezur, Portugal, and went fully online. Now we coach clients in twelve plus countries from a small town on the southwest coast. Our office has ocean views. Our clients have better programming. Everyone wins.

Jake Louro

Jake has been coaching for twenty years. He started in a small gym in Massachusetts and worked his way through personal training, group coaching, and strength programming for everyone from busy dads to competitive athletes.

Before coaching full time, he was a firefighter. That job taught him that fitness has to be functional, durable, and available on the worst day you've ever had. Not just on the days you feel great.

His approach is built on the basics. Progressive overload. Real recovery. Programming that respects your life outside the gym. No gimmicks, no hype, no pretending a twelve week program is going to change everything forever.

Jake specializes in men's body composition, strength, and athletic performance. He coaches clients in commercial gyms, garage setups, hotel gyms, and everything in between.

Head Coach, Pre & Postpartum

Julie Louro

Julie is one of the top pre and postpartum coaching specialists in the industry. Her work is built on years of continuing education, clinical collaboration, and a deep obsession with the details most coaches ignore.

She came to this work because she saw what was missing. Postpartum women being handed the same generic templates as twenty year olds. Prenatal clients being told to just walk. Moms giving up on training because nobody would actually program for their bodies.

Her approach is evidence-based, unhurried, and deeply personal. Every phase gets its own programming. Prenatal, early postpartum, return to full training. She adjusts weekly based on what your body is actually doing, not what a textbook says it should be doing.

Julie works with women across every stage, from first pregnancy through years postpartum. C-section recovery, diastasis, pelvic floor, returning to lifting heavy. This is her entire focus.
